We'd always loved that sparkle that appears on the water when the sun hits it. You know what I'm talking about? The kind that isn't a reflection or a flash, but something softer, deeper. As if the water breathed light for a second. We saw it on the beach, in rivers, even in a fountain in the park. And every time we saw it, we fell silent, as if the moment became more beautiful just by being there.
One day, we wondered what it was called. We searched the internet, asked people, even looked in old books. But nothing. It had no name. And that seemed really strange to us. How could something so beautiful not have a name?
So we invented it.
We call it Inira .
“In” from “within,” because that shine isn’t just on the surface; it seems to come from deep within, as if the water had a soul.
"Ira," which means "inner glow." Because that's what we feel when we see it: a kind of light that's not only on the outside, but also lights up a little bit inside us.
Since then, every time we see it, we say, "Look, there's Inira." And even though no one else knows what it means, it's special to us. Because we named something we love. And now, every time we name it, we experience it again.
